Ridiculous Reasons People Ended Friendships

One thing you can be sure about in life is that friendships come and go. You can know someone your whole life and only have a surface level friendship with them, and wind up meeting your best friend at the age of 32. You may also have met your best friend in kindergarten and stayed besties your whole life. Either way, the strength of a friendship is determined less by the length of time but rather on the relationship's quality. And judging by these Reddit stories of petty reasons people ended friendships, they weren't of the best quality to begin with.

He sat down and watched a few episodes with me in silence. He then got up and refused to speak to me for the rest of the semester, then moved to another dorm. Her family was exceedingly wealthy and she was well-off. She was a spoiled brat and always got her way. She said I should make her wedding a financial priority. I didn't have money to put gas in my car. 15-year friendship down the drain. Turned out to be a huge blessing.

He had cooked an elaborate meal for his GF that involved most of the cookware. He said I was liar and that they were mine. That was the last time we spoke. We were starting high school next year, and she wanted to be popular. I was too concerned with grades and didn't have the right look so she didn't want to be associated with me anymore.
